Our Founder
Her Highness, Rani Manindra Kumari, the last Princess of Baler Estate and Bahu Rani of the Bhareh Dynasty, is now 83 years old. Her passion is to offer a royal‑luxury experience to the world, and her mission is to help those in misery without raising funds.
Story of Karmezo
Karmezo draws inspiration from Maharaja Roop Singh Sengar, the ruler of Bhareh Principality and a leading figure in the First War of Indian Independence in 1857. As a staunch freedom fighter, he sheltered Maharani Laxmi Bai and captured the Fort of Gwalior alongside other local rulers for 15 days. After his fort was demolished by the British, he went into hiding, and his family relocated to the Fortress of Ayana where the Karmezo bags are now manufactured.
Carried by this spirit of courage and compassion, his descendant—Maharani Manindra Kumari—founded Karmezo. With unwavering resolve, Karmezo dedicates 100% of its profits to social causes: environmental protection, sterilization of stray dogs, and the welfare of underprivileged children and abused animals.
